Gregg Young

Gregg Young serves as a special advisor to Serra, leveraging more than 40 years spent leading development and operations for commercial real estate sectors. 

Gregg has extensive experience structuring and financing complex real estate projects with innovative solutions such as CTL bonds, private placements and institutional debt to developers and clients. He leverages his expertise to help communities with CTL-backed solutions for Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) fulfillment.

Gregg’s career includes leadership roles with the Trammell Crow Company, where he developed over 5 million square feet of new buildings and founded Trammell Crow Corporate Services to manage corporate real estate portfolios. Acquired by CBRE, the division has grown into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. He served as principal at Stanfield Partners, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Karney Management Company and managing director at Essex Capital. 

Gregg earned his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he founded the Real Estate Investment Club. He also holds an AB in Political Science and Government with a minor in urban economics from Dartmouth College.
